Nope.. never had time to do it and needed to clear the garage but should be at the 120+ bhp mark.

don't know where he got 130 form.

Same place he got the price I presume. Probably a VRT inspector, similar traits :p.

That hayabusa project looks interesting , alot of work! I was looking into doing a b16 conversion to one of mine after I sort the current one.

I'd love to do a rotary engine rear wheel drive conversion.
Like from an rx-8 which can be had cheap and already have 190 to 210 bhp standard.
And the rotary engine is very small in dimensions. only thing is that the gearbox is probably massive.
however i never seen it done so have nothing to go by.

Have to save a few bob first anyways.

I have had an rx7 and an rx8 the gearbox is hefty properly hefty in the rx7 the engine inevitably went in my 7 and had to be pulled and it is small with all the anacillaries off it but the box weighs a tonne and it's huge. I don't see it going into a mini easily although you can get modified bellhousings for the 13b engine that might make it plausible. The silky smooth power band and revvy nature of the rotaries is addictive.

Have you seen project binky on youtube with the 3sgte toyota engine and 4wd going in a shell keeping the standard shells outer diameters

yeah i have seen that one on the old y tube.

i still think the rx8 engine would do a nice job. anyone gonna give me an rx8 for free to chop up to fit bits into a mini.

:D :D :D

it would make for another interesting build thread

Well hello all,

haven't been on here in ages.

Just seen my mini reappear as a 1966 hmmmmm, she's gotten older in years all of a sudden.

and more expensive too lol.

Someday when i can afford to buy another shell i will do another one.
Anyone got a rolling shell with papers for a good home:)

Sorry to see it has fallen into the hands of a dodgey owner. You should definatley do the rotary build!
