Trailer for sale.
Some of you may have heard that one of the traders at this years IMM had a bit of a mishap on their journey to over when the timing chain on their car went near Longford, the engine is beyond economic repair an so the car has to be scrapped.
The trader, Bart from Holland, got his stuff down to Westport and bought a 91 Galway reg Mini there to get himself home. However he has had to leave his trailer behind and he has asked me to put it up here to see if it would be of interest to anyone.
It was previously (could be again) a trailer tent. It is a two wheeled trailer, 3.5m long hitch to tail, bed is 2.2m long, 1.5m wide and 0.6m deep. It has a galvanized chassis, integral lights, lockable top, opening rear panel, is fully braked and has a fully working jockey wheel as well as a spare trailer wheel/tyre.
Bart is looking for €250 for it.
It is located in Newtownforbes if anyone wants to view it.

I believe we are going to buy new lightweight ones at present. The older ones are too heavy. I'll check it out though

It's rated at 650kg capacity so can take a fair load. It runs 12" wheels too
It has rear support steady legs which would make it very stable when unhitched.

Re: Trailer for sale.
Thanks for putting up the advert Neil.
The trailer has brand new tires and is capable of transporting 5 engine / gearboxes at once. I have also regularly transported my 3x4m heavy duty tent with it as part of my trade stands. So, it would be well-suited for carrying a large club gazebo. I would think that one could even put it behind a sufficiently powerful Mini. Notice that the trailer also has run-up brakes so that it is not just the car that has to bring it all to stop
