The fastest wheelbarrow in Ireland, lol...

Hi Guys and Girls :)

Well, my mini is well and truely in the process of being stripped and rebuilt. it'll take a while tho because we and our friends are mostly doing it ourselves in our spare time.

The 1L engine is out, and today i washed it down, there is still a bit more cleaning to do, but this is it so far.

sorry, whats the best way to put up pics/links on this forum? I did exactly the same thing on another forum, and the pics came out perfect.

well done looks well might be an idea to run that engine soon even out of the car as if water from the washing managed to get in any of the internals the engine will suffer.

Thanks Merlin :)

Starting to paint the engine today. The rest of the car is a shell at the moment, and anything remotely rusty is being taken out, and replaced. Already replaced both the full sills.

The plan is to then throw the engine back into the car. I think there is still oil in the engine, not sure coz my boyfriend removed the engine...must ask him. Other than that, I'm putting a stage 1 kit onto the car, so the manifold and carb are going.

What else may suffer if its still wet?
