U need the head light stickers as well and if u have a reg with no IRL u need to put a IRL sticker on the back of the car.
If you get out of the car on the side of the road in Belgium with out a hi-vis its €50 fine.

FYI,

A few of us are planning to stay in Amiens on the Wednesday night, which is nearly half way to Lommel from Cherbourg. It seems to have a good campsite that also has cabins for rent for non campers, and some hotels in the town. There is a river side bar and restaurant area, so it could be a nice place to spend Wednesday evening.

Prices for each pitch will be :
- 1 pitch with electricity/1 caravan and 1 car / 1 night = 23.50€ + 0.40€ for staying tax per night per person
- 1 pitch with a tent / 1 night / 2 people = 18.60€ + 0.40€ for staying tax par night per person

They still have many pitches available, there is no need to book in advance, we will do the check-in when you arrive (8:30am-12:00 / 2:00pm-6:30pm)

I contacted them in early April when they opened for business in the 2016 season and they would not accept one night bookings in their mobile homes,they would only accept a minimum of a 2 night stay.Maybe they have changed their policy but I booked in Abbeville instead.

Hopefully they have allowed us enough room for everyone,I emailed them the amount of cars and people that we had on April the 8th so we should be good.In Kent,the organisers did not have us down for our own camp site even though I did email them our requirements which meant we had to go to the unreserved camping area.We will be in area A11.

For anyone interested in seeing the D-Day beaches, Pointe du Hoc is a good spot to visit. It is maintained by the American Battle Monument Commission

During World War II it was the highest point between Utah Beach to the west and Omaha Beach to the east. The German army fortified the area with concrete casemates and gun pits. On D-Day (6 June 1944) the United States Army Ranger Assault Group assaulted and captured Pointe du Hoc after scaling the cliffs.

It is just off the Cherbourg to Bayeux A-13, about half way.
