Have been thinking about an East - West/West - East run based on the alphabet. The first year we would start in say, Arklow and finish in maybe Achill Sound taking in Athlone on the way and as many places beginning with "A" as possible.
Arklow - Avoca - Aughavannagh - Athy - Abeyleix - etc - Athlone - Athleague - Aghamore - Achill, you get the idea.
The person with the most "A" place name pics with their car is the winner. Then the next year it's Bray to Belmullet.

Thought about the East/West alternitive to MTM , the alphabet idea is good and you could work your way around the country.
