Fantastic that this has been done and is offered as a retro conversion. The power output has room for improvement as the batteries could be modernised to a 18650 pack set up to offer better density.

Would love to do it myself.

Re: e-mini
Ive been looking at this for a while. Most of the setups have been a total electric engine swap out, and pushed through the rear wheels.
This one is interesting in the fact that it keeps all the same running gear, but just removes the engine block. Concern would be the bit of extra weight. Offer it with more powerful batteries, with a better range and I'd gladly take it.
No mention of price on this one though?

Re: e-mini
Catch 22 I suppose. More batteries = more weight. More weight = more requirement for batteries.
Id be happy with a 100Kmph max speed (thats attainable!) with a range of 200Kms

Re: e-mini
Lynch motors don’t have very good opinion within EV conversion community. They known to have lots of issues.

I build an electric mini myself. Meant to start thread here, but decided not to, until I get the car back on its own wheels. Made this decision three years ago. But I’m getting there. Shouldn’t take more than couple of months now. For those interested, I’m here:

Here are some pictures of power train I’ve put together.

Crikey that's some thread you've got there. Time to settle down with a nice cuppa.
