98 mini upgrades??
Hi, I 98 Mini Cooper. I use my mini as a daily car. I'm looking for ideas on how to upgrade the engine. It runs fine but just just wanting to know what might be good changes.
Also wondering about bucket seat are the comfortable for daily use and which is good.
Thanks in advance for any tips.

Re: 98 mini upgrades??
Have a look around the site there's countless ideas for performance mods.
Most common are stage 1 kit. Available from minispares/minisport or any other on-line retailer.
Most parts come up for sale regularly so you can find decent second hand deals.
What engine is in it currently?
The performance handling kits are also highly rated personally I'd go with adjustable shocks to give more flexible ride settings. If you have money to splash changing the cones for springs seems to be popular but with mixed reviews so maybe find out more of someone who has this set-up.

Mixed reviews on the springs! Iv never used! I'd say hi lows with good shock absorbers an lower it a bit you'll not mess with the mini feel! Stage 1 kit! Don't go to mad as it's ur daily u don't want to make it unreliable
If it's bigger than a mini it's not a mini

I see the stage 1 kit is an exhaust kit. Excuse my ignorance on engines but how does it improve performance??

Bigger flow! Gasses can escape after there for improving flow improving power! Then u can put an air filter on getting more air in! You'll feel and hear the difference!!!
