Welcome to the Irish Mini Owners Club forum. Celebrating 30 years of the Irish Mini Owners Club, 60 years of the Mini, 50 years of the Clubman and 20 years of our flagship event MTM
Hi Guys Sunday the 25th of January, we start filming for the IMM 2017? bid. This film is designed to represent the IMOC and all its members on the international stage in May this year. We are looking for as many members and their minis, new and old... to meet us @ the pilltown Gaa grounds in Piltown, Co Kilkenny. We have arranged camera drones to fly round the site, taking aerial shots of all the minis arriving into the site. It will also give everyone an opportunity to visit the site where we hopefully will hold the event. Please tell everyone you know that has a mini they can bring, as everyone is welcome, but also please know that this film shoot is very much dependent on the weather so keep an eye here for updates and times looking forward to seeing you all, its finally happening Joe
For anyone going to kilkenny this Sunday, all minis are needed in the piltown gaa grounds at 12:30 sharp, there will be tea a coffee available, but do bring a packed lunch. If anyone has any questions please let me know.
Hopefully it all goes well.
I would love to be there and had plans to try and get a Mini there, but unfortunately I have to be elsewhere on Sunday.
Keep us posted with any updates
Great turnout on Sunday for the promo video,a big thanks to everyone who travelled from all corners to be there and hopefully it bodes well for the bid.
And many Thanks to the Piltown GAA Club staff that lookde after us.
I enjoyed the day and met members that I hadn't met or talked to before ovre the years.
I just want to say a huge thank you to all the people, young and old, whio made the effort to come down to kilkenny and help with the video. Theres is no doubt, the few clips I ve seen so far it will be something worth waiting for. You will be able to see the video played at the club AGM in March and again after the bid in Lithuania.
