Re: Project "Ron" vtec conversion
Well mine is insured as a 1.6 honda mini with vtec engine code all changed on the book!!! Nct if it's 1980+ obviously but it shud pass nct if it in a steel front mini and done correctly! Only ting is emissions! But if it's pre 92 emissions don't count!!!!

Re: Project "Ron" vtec conversion
Are u mounting your altenator at the front???? If so you'll need to modify the manifold ! Pipe 4 to the right catches the green plug and melts it even with heat wrap! You'll need to cut it and re weld it!!! Or cut a notch out of it! Up to yourself! Hope this helps mate

Re: Project "Ron" vtec conversion
I'd say it will be very close but I have seen a pic on another forum with evo 5 recaros in a mini so I should be able to get away with it
ya there expensive alright I picked these up for 400e there very clean and they come with rails so I'm pretty happy with them.
