I have been to the last two National Mini Days and have been disappointed with the turn out from members of the Eastern Region. Both times I have travelled down and back in the same day and it is a very easy journey. This year the extra bit of open motorway will probably reduce it to a bit over 2 hours.
Myself and BlackSeven are planning to head down on Sunday morning and can use the Lidl car park in Maynooth as meeting point, if your interested.

10 am in Killbeggan sounds ok... I'll be easy to spot, look for the puddle of coolant under the water pump. Oh yea, and the boot stuffed full of water bottles. H 968 YFM

It shouldn't be too hard to find a few Minis in Kilbeggan on a Sunday morning
A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.
