Temple St cheque handover and Turlough Hill tour

As you all know we raised money during MTM 2014 for Temple St children's hospital and the cheque handover will be taking place on Sunday the 28th of September outside the hospital at 11.00am so there will be a photo opportunity as we hand over the cheque so please bring along your Minis.After the handover we will adjourn to Carrickmines retail park to regroup after the spin through the city and have a cup of coffee.From there we will be heading to ESB's Turlough Hill electricity generating station for a guided tour at 2pm.This it the last ever tour to celebrate 40 years of Turlough Hill and is limited to 45 people only.The tour will take about an hour and will include a visit to the generating hall deep inside a Wicklow mountain.This may not be suitable to people suffering from claustrophobia and due to the limit on numbers is for paid up Club members only.Please add your names to the list below and if you have put your name down and are unable to go please delete your names to allow others to go.

We will be in Carrickmines from 12 to 1 Dave if you want to meet up.This is a great opportunity to visit Turlough Hill and we will be given a tour of the generating hall which is located deep underneath a Wicklow mountain in what is one of the great engineering feats on our country and when it is explained what Turlough hill does it will become apparent how important this facility is to our country in terms of electricity generation.Get your names down if you want to go.
