After taking a break in August (due to the camping weekend) , MICKs are inviting you all to the September Monthly Meeting on this Thursday (18th Sept) , taking place in The Monread Lodge, Naas. If the weather keeps up we will hopefully make use of the small outdoor seating for the evening. All welcome from 8:00pm onwards.
P.S. Joe Whyte is going to try to attend on Thursday and give an update on IMM 2017 plans so far.

Way to short notice!!!+ this is mostly the problem with these meets for us in Leinster!!! It's to late notice! Shud be organised at the start of the month to give enough notice to get time off work/ baby sitters, this needs to be better organised

It is well organised, for the last year the third Thursday of each month is a MICKS meeting night. The venue changes to accommodate members, it varies between Maynooth, Naas, Newbridge at the moment. Killian puts a lot of effort into the meetings.

The monthly meeting has been organised on the 3rd Thursday of the month for over two years now. It is only the venue that changes, and that is to try and make it easier on members to attend. At the momenmt the members attending are almost all from North Kildare, with some West Dubs visiting occassionally, and that is why we rotate between Maynooth, Naas and Newbridge. This also means that the same members don't always have to drive as far all of the time.
All of these current venues are used to try and entice more members to come along ,as apart from the last Dublin meeting (not the New Year's Lunch) , the previous meetings in Dublin were attended by only Milton and myself. We now have a regular six to twelve members turning up and are trying to get this increased. If this means adding extra venues , we will do it.
The meeting is an IMOC monthly meeting, just hosted by the MICKs. Everyone is welcome.
The October venue will be decided at Thursday's meeting and notified on this forum as soon as poosible.
