1st Trip in the Mini (pic Heavy)
So 1st holiday off the bikes & 1st in the Mini w/the little fella. Couldnt leave the bikes out completely so headed to the Isle of Man as Ive only ever seen it during the TT & this way we coud see the Island & get some of the Manx in.
All packed & ready to go. Herself in the back as I hadnt figured out how to put his seat in the back (that was until I get an earful about her back & the Mini's suspension. LOL
Met a friend on the ferry
Peel castle
A hole lot of Mini's on the Island!
A visit to Joey & a bit bitter sweet as the Museum is now derelict
A quick pit stop & Stanley Woods clock looking over us & the last day for herself in the back
Some lighthouse or other, plenty of them about
Some roads were fun too, always great views, too bad I cant say the same about the surfaces
A visit to Laxy, some great engineering
Top of Snaffel, weather came in a bit, but the trip up in the trap was interesting
In the paddocks for the Manx, some nice bikes & interesting characters
Lovely welds on this'un
A.R.E Private bike collection in Kick Micheal, well worth a visit
Practice @ Ballaugh Bridge from the Raven (great people & grub, oh & a couple of Ravens Claw too!)
Some new comers got the landing a little off
Next day looking for some Crosses & the roads got even more interesting...
Ready for the next practice session
Muff didnt just protect hearing LOL
On the grid
he was as impressed w/the flapping flags & the bikes!
Home the next morning w/a long spin from Belfast, Mini behaved flawlessly & all looking forwad to the next trip.
Althou she has told me I need a new suspension 1st!
More pics of bikes/ crosses ect if interested...

Looks like a great holiday.
You should try out someones car that has the Smooth-a-ride system fitted, may be a worthwhile investment.

I think Zak has it fitted but he's on 13" wheels which would be a harder ride anyway.

Cheers I'll look him up when I get home. Off to work in the morning.
Mine too I must say, trip was great but highlighted some work needed.
Got my offshore courses sorted this leave, so starting to look into a move too. You back for long?

Great story and photos. It's years since I was in the IOM but some of the sights still look the same.
