WATER PUMP LEAKING

hi ya lads, i completed MTM 07 without a problem, or at least i thought i did! hehe, yesterday i noticed the car was running very hot, i stoped checked the water, and ye it needed a top up, same again today, but i noticed when it was running that there were small specs of water being spat out by the fan belt area! so i inspected further, and i am driping like a dogs mouth, so i foned the local car factors and he can get me one, but i wont be able to change it till saturday...can i still drive it like this provided i dont push it? i always carry a gallon of water too , so i think it may be a case of lots of stopping!! :(

It depends how much water your lossing.If the level drops below the tempeture sender unit the gauge will read a lot lower than the actual tempeture is and can warp the head.
