Thank you for the welcome

Our IMM 2014. Where to start, First of all a BIG HUGE THANKYOU to S.M.O.C. for putting on such an AMAZING weekend, we arrived at 10 minutes to two, and queued with everyone else, so happy to see the loos at the top of the field, good thinking on your part, we were just happy to be there meeting up with old friends, and looking forward to catch up with others, with special thanks to all of the member of the Irish minis Owners Club for making us so welcome and including us in there camp, and for all the stickers that I posted and stuck on many a mans a chest, lol ,,,,, we were all set up and had a cupper in hand by 5pm, in the evening we walked around the site to find our bearings, only to find that the site was HUGE, so we just went and had fish and chips and a pint or 5.
Friday we went to Hastings in the Morning to put Flowers on my parent’s grave, and then went to visit and old school friend who lived opposite me when I was growing up, it was great to catch up, sadly my sister was out when I knocked on the door.
We found an amazing pub on the way back to the Kent Show ground. So if any of you find yourself on the Hawkenbury Road , do pop in the Hawkenbury Inn, it’s almost worth moving from Exmoor to be closer to that Inn.
Later that day a new friend from Adelaide Australia came to find us, especially to give us some tourist information on Adelaide for when we visit latter on was so amazing to meet you
Then on to the evening’s entertainment, what can one say, there was something for everyone, we did wonder if the following nights would be as good.
Saturday, cooked bacon rolls for breakfast, then we went walkabout, so much to see and so much to do we were spoilt for choice, caught up with many friends and were so happy to make new friends,
The evening meal was first class, catering for over 5,000 is a logistical nightmare, we again queued but hay, the food was worth it and we saw many old friends and made some new ones as well while waiting, so all in all to me and Ron the queuing was all part of the fun and making of new friends, and catching up with old ones, who we may not have found by just walking round such a vast site.
Then on to Saturday nights entertainment, well if you thought Friday was good , the Ventriloquist was so funny I cried , and the Bogus Brothers, were so entertaining, they made the place there own , in the words of any X.Factor Judge, they owned the stage,
Sunday, and again after a very short time in the queue for breakfast we again meet some old friends, who had been looking for us , all the best IMMs should have queues just so you can catch up with people you haven’t seen for a long time.
Then it was walk about time again, we found bits of the show that we had not seen before. And again another day of so much to do and see, still being spoilt for choice, Sunday ended with the Handing over of the IMM Key to Lithuania, and a huge sigh of relief from SMOC. The evening ended for us with the Fabulous Boogie Band and a disco,
Monday Morning was packing up day, sad to be leaving after such an eventful weekend, but happy and contended to have been part of such an awesome experience, so it remains for me to say once again Thank you very much for such an AMAZING weekend SMOC.

we are now looking forward to helping out in the 2017 IMM in Ireland   :D :D
