Sorry lads , was booking a flight up to Derry for Friday, but somehow booked a flight to Bremen instead. So enjoy the run and remember "be careful out there".

Since Marcos Graveyard and myself told them that they should hold a party, I felt that at least one of us should turn up.

Congratulations and a huge "Thank you!" to Billy and the 2007 MTM committee for an outstanding run. I hadn't a clue what route we were taking and was surprised to re-enter the Republic (of Ireland, not Cork!) in Cavan but could understand after experiencing the superb roads on offer. Didn't mean to arrive 10 minutes before anyone else at Athlone, then again at Gougane Barra so we were determined to not be first into Mizen Head. Worried about my reputation if we did (in a '90 City after all)and especially worried that my wife would find out!!!
Sorry we couldn't make the Sunday run but I had a date with the TV for the Monte Carlo GP at 1 pm so it was another banzai run from Bantry over Moll's Gap to Galway in 4 hours. All in all 1030 miles in 45 hours from Galway on Friday to Galway on Sunday.
Once again, a brilliant day and thanks again.
Bill

Absolutely brilliant weekend was had. Was a bit worried that I wouldnt know anyone and it might be a bit 'clicky', but boy was i wrong. Billy and Neil did an amazing job, everything was perfect. Brilliant roads, gorgeous hotel, friendly sheep and a great sense of comaradery amoung the runners.
So thanks to all the IMOC people how made this happen and for the warmest welcome we got at a Mini event ever!!
I'll be there next year without a doubt
Great job guys!!

i second all the above, mentioned here and other places: the 2007MTM "the numb bum run" was a huge success and very enjoyable; full credit to the organisers for all their hard work. I dont think we as participants fully realise the extent of the wok that went into making it the success it was.
my first time and i *will* be back next year....
