I was changing the top engine steady rubber bush when I noticed this yoke was missing a nut & bolt (the one on the farside that is out of view)
1. What is it?
2. How bad is it to not to have a second bolt on that?
3. I think it needs a bolt to be threaded down into the block and then a nut to tighten it on? Is that right?
Thanks!

It's a breather for the engine, someone probably removed it to do the steady bushes before and didn't bother putting it back on as it's awkward to put back on

What is actually missing ( I think) is a stud with a nut and washer. Because its going into alloy the thread on the bottom of the stud will be different from the one you see on top. It will be a UNC thread. You can replace the stud with a UNC bolt.

Have you got some oil spattering on that side of the engine? It's not the most important part on the engine but I would put one on if you have one.
