After the success of last year the Irish Mini Owners Club will again be participating in the National Classic Car Show in the RDS in Dublin on Sat 1st. & Sun 2nd of March 2014.
We have been allocated a club stand that will accommodate 4 Minis only which is the same as last year.As this is a classic show vans, saloons, pickups, Clubmans, Elfs, Hornets, Mokes, estate cars and all derivatives of the classic Mini are welcome from 1959 onwards(even plastic ones)
Cars must be of a show standard. The cars will have to be left in the RDS from Friday evening 28th of February until Sunday evening 2nd of March 5 pm.
There will be security at all times at the venue. This was a great opportunity for the IMOC to promote itself last year and we expect this year to be the same.
Each Mini owner that is picked will get a complimentary pass for the show and must be available to help man the IMOC stand over the weekend and answer questions about their car and the Club.
This is open to Paid Up Club Members Only and anyone who puts their name down for this should realise that their car will be on show all day Saturday and Sunday with visitors able to walk around & view them so if you are nervous about a lot of people walking around your Mini you need to consider this before putting your name down.
In the interest of fairness to all Club members,Minis that were chosen for last years show will not be considered for this years, however if you have a second Mini that you think would be suitable please add it to the list.
More information on the show is available by logging onto http://classiccarshow.ie/
The IMOC Committee will have the final say as to the cars that will be chosen.
Can we start a list below of name & type of car below as we need to make a decision by the end of January.
