Was talking to a friend who commutes from Derry to Dublin each week.
He goes M1 to Dundalk, then Blayney Monaghan Aughnacloy etc to Derry.
I will probably choose to avoid the Motorway and go Slane Ardee Blayney, a good early start and save the car for the real day.
Thinking of which the squaw is in the navigators seat, do we need much in the way of maps or will we get a route card for the trip south.
See you on the day if our luck and the by-pass hose holds

Each car will get a Route Book, which has all you need to know about your directions for the journey. It contains direction of every junction that you need to negotiate along the way, there is also a tulip diagram of the layout of each junction showing where you are comming from and where you need to go, (for those of you unfamiliar with "Tulip Diagrams", Billy will be giving a master class on their useage as part of the drivers briefing on Friday), It also contains the distances between junctions and the total distance at each junction.
See you Friday.
