How was Mondello?

Post by twinjocks »

Just been checking out Mini Resource - seems to have been a good day. Did you go, Woody? Did anyone end up in the gravel?

Julie.

No gravel but Brendan was doing his best to cover the sides of the GT in grass but it was a great day out on a big track.Plenty of room for everybody and the free for all at the end was brilliant.I need a 1380 now.It was lovely to see so many minis out on the end of the day in pouring rain giving it loads. You don,t need 200bhp to have fun in the rain.
I,ll post pics tomorrow.Fair play Eamon, well worth the money.

MTM07,simply the best.

Great day, well done eamon, very well run and great value.
The last time we had a track day I had a fast mini but 8 years later the bench mark has really been raised. Its great to see the standard of cars in Ireland has gotten this good, now I have to go and build that turbo!
Woody went well for the day the bigest problem being grip in the wet on 12" road tyres. The engin developed a deeper note towards the end of the session but I discovered today the centre branch of the exhaust manifold was a little lose, now sorted so roll on mtm.
Well done to all the drivers for a non contact day ,it was a plesure driving with you all.
