Indicators
Hi all,
My indicators have stopped flashing. They flash the first time then stay on/flicker lightly. My hazards still work fine though. any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thanks

Nope, flashers and hazards work on seperate units, antodeco wrote:I was originally thinking that but would the hazards not be affected too??
one should be located under the dash and the other should be located under the bonnet, but, this being a mini, they could be anywhere

Re: Indicators
Assuming this is the '89 Mayfair ( always good to state model on original post) then it has two flasher units unlike later models and no earths behind expansion bottle like later models.
Assuming that the problem is common to both sides and all six indicators are working then most likely it is the INDICATOR flasher unit located behind the speedo.
The other possablity is low voltage caused by faulty altenator or bad connections (including earths). Low voltage would also showup as dim headlights.

Re: Indicators
Sorry, its actually on the 1275GT! I connected the car upto another cars battery in case there was a dodgy voltage. Still the same. I checked fuses and random cables. All seem ok. Any ideas where on the GT it is? Thanks for all the replies.

Re: Indicators
I think its behind the rev counter. If not the 2 flashers are beside each other near the wiper motor.
