howdy all

i bought a mini a while back and i see it in the members gallery on here its down as niall morans
basically im asking does anyone know what engine is in it i was told its a 1380cc its running on twin 40s it used to be raced in mondello??
any info be great

last I heard it had a 1293cc engine in it, don't think it was raced either, more like he went out to do one of the quick sessions at classic car live and the clutch let go on him and he had to get it towed home,
I'll ask him for a run down of what it had for you

Definitely never raced...and would be surprised if it had twin 40s too

as i said thats the info i was relayed, a lad down my way used to be up in mondello on track days and he seen it lapping the track is all i know, as we all know everyone seems to add a bit themselves and there is twin 40s on it yes, i got it in bad need of bit of repair, its parked up going on 4 year clutch was gone on it alrite and was only firing on 2 cylinders and no exhaust

just like to know whats under the hood of it going to try fix it up get it going again

Sounds like it is the Stobart replica with the reg 270 AYI that appears on the Members Cars page
