hi guys,

has anyone ever had a problem like mine where the fumes come into the car??? its very clear to smell especially when driving for a while n da windows are open....?
when the windows are closed the smell isnt as obvious which seems a bit starnge????

any help much appreciated

this is common enough, my Mini has reeked of petrol for years.

Check the fuel tank in the boot, there is a vent pipe at the top of the tank that exits through a hole in the boot floor underneath the tank, this tube can become squashed/blocked or fall off, simply replace it making sure that it protrudes a good 10cm through the boot floor.

A bootlid that is not sealing properly could also be your problem.

10" is enough for any man.
