palns for the mini she will be running on 10inch minilifes , will be fitted with mk1 grille and tail lights and will be a retro mk1 paint job possibly works red .
engine wise will be fairly standard 998 fitted with lcb , straight thru exhaust into rc40 back box , nikki twin choke carb and will be porting and polishing the head , may fit a mg metro cam and cooper head or upgrade to 1275 if can get one cheap enough
will be running on gas kyb shocks and hopefully cooper s disc if anyone has any going cheap get in touch please thanks

ive been going out to the bodyshop and trying to help where i can to try and the costs down and speed up the process ground down out the dents on the door today as u can see there was alot of dents
i also decided to debumper the front hope it looks good when its done
well its a year on im a little bit wiser have more facial hair but the mini is still yet to be painted but its getting round to getting her final coat this week hopefully
havent updated this in a while so apologises, havent done to much this last while got the shell painted and the back frame built up and fitted with all new poly bushens, brakes and pipes these pics are from before christmas
So not much has happened until i got my motorbike sold and ended up going shopping online and bought callipers, headlamps ,tail lamps, bumpers, grille etc etc the whole lot near everything bought now!
few shiny bits put on today
alot of work being done this week on the car roll on the MOT
thanks for the comments folks coming together good bit left to do tho. abit of progress today tackled the front frame today got all stripped and cleaned up ready for painting along with the cooper hubs and drives
original frame was clean rotten so got another frame off one of my mates so handy enough
Keep your old rubber mounts or put some new ones in your plans, I'm in the process of getting rid of all the poly bushes as they weren't up to the job, as although they don't compress as much as rubber (when new) they don't react as quick either.
awwk dont tell me that ;(, they will have to do there bought now haha full steam ahead, got ball joints in the S hubs today and all shimmed up hopefully get the front frame in this week/saturday, no pics sadly!

Slow but steady progress, nothing beats putting stuff back on a newly painted shell although it does show up any rusty nuts or bolts on the stuff you are putting back on.Not that you have that problem.
