liquid metal front end
I was having a chat with a friend a while ago about a removable front end and he suggested using liquid metal to put a metal one together. This isn't something I'm planning more pub talk, but he made the point that if you use fibre glass front ends with brace bars it couldn't be weaker. What would peoples opinions on this as far as safety, practicality, legality, etc

Re: liquid metal front end
I had one on my race prepared mini back in NZ, it was lighter than any of the fibreglass ones others were using and also stood up to damage/repair far better than the fibreglass ones also. We made it on the car by welding the bonnet/wings and front section together (tacked) and then cut it off the car (front wheel arch). Then we cut, joined and welded the seams together.
