What about Plasti Dip Joey?
Dunno if you've seen it but there's some good videos on youtube about it. Not very strong against briars or stones but avoid them and you'll be grand!
They do different colours, mattes and pearls so might be worth looking into maybe? very little prep work needed too for it!

Re: Paint and wrap
I seen that on tmf it looks like the tyre machine would chip it, very cool though
Ill just paint the wheels as they will more than likely be winter wheels

Re: Paint and wrap
Im not certain on the validity if this joey but a friend of a friend got the bonnet if his corolla carbon wrapped and had it clear coated and a few weeks down the line the laquer reacted with the wrap, dunno how but it look desperate, couldve been dodgey laquer but id look into it if i was you
If duct tape cant fix it theres no hope

Re: Paint and wrap
just have a quick look online, dont think wrap is that bad for fading anyway and if its done by a proper shop they'l give a year or 2 guarantee on it but i think the best bet for the car is paint, wrap covers up too many bodywork sins!
