Petrol pump

Im going to try and start the red cars engine after years of not running
Iv filled the oil fillter with oil, that primes that right ?
Iv point new points, dizy cap, leads, plugs, oil, coolant, clucth fluid, carb oil

Im here asking how to prime the fuel pump and have i left anything else out ?

The fuel pump runs off the cam shaft so turning the engine is how it's done

Turning it over on the starter with the dizzy cap off will prime the carb but more importantly it will get the oil moving around the engine.
Ideally you should connect up an oil pressure gauge and get the pressure up before you attempt to start it .
