project spud

Post by spud1979 »

have started some work on spud this week. most of ye know the car from here before and the front end project appeared on this last year. over the next couple of weeks im hoping for body work on the rear of the car and hope to have the new engine up and running by the weekend. my car had a 998cc engine in it but the gearbox was about to go so i decided to upgrade to a little bit more power. i got my hands on a 1275cc engine with the car attached. keep an eye in the for sale section for parts for sale shortly while i break that car. i hope to have the car completed for the camping weekend. depends on body shop, fingers crossed.

just read about the work you have done to the car..great work.. the car looks stunning.
my question is ..do you still have the original 998 cc engine.. as am looking fior a good one
at the mom..as the '81 engine that i have in my clubman..is having oil pressure problems and
its needs total refurb..

Do you still have the black wheels off the 93. Any interest in parting with them?
