Speedo reading arse ways!
When sitting on a motorway at 3000 rpm the speedo is saying I'm doing 70 odd kilometers when I had a friend sitting beside me and his car was doing 100 kilometers... Stud is a jap import so it has a kilometer speedo as standard but what could be causing this false reading?
Could the speedo cable be lose or fecked? Wrong speedo cable? (If theres different types?) Never really realised as I haven't really been driving Stud.

Are you running 13" ?
Wheel size can make a difference but usualy not that much but still could be effecting it

You can work out the exact speed from the rev counter if you have the diff ratio and tyre size, there should also be an TPM number on the speedo which should confirm the calculation.

It's possible to change the ratios in the speedo drive on the gearbox .
