Haynes Manual '69-'96

Post by woody »

Has anybody got this manual to check something for me that is not in the later manual.
I'm looking for a wiring diagram for an SPi '95-'96.
Many manuals including Rover show the SPi diagam for '92-'96 but this is wrong as the loom was changed in '95.
Somebody on another forum thinks the correct diagram may be in that manual.

Hi Mark
Here is the later Manual
http://www.ilovemini.com/drupal/sites/d ... esmini.pdf
Can you compare the diagrams on pages 220-226 with yours and see if there is any difference
Thanks

Hi Woody
I don't see any difference in the spi circuits, there are separate diagrams for each section of the car, which one do you need to check for a difference.

All of them :D
The biggest difference is that these cars are fitted with a 24 fuse fusebox in the engine bay instead of the 4 fuse box and bunch of inline fuses. A cross between the old loom and the MPi loom.
I have found my problem ,these cars are fitted with the later type of immobilizer found in MPI's were the immobilizer is coded to the ECU .
Would still like to get my hands on the correct wiring diagram.

Thanks Mark but wrong diagram.
The fuses 93 are the 4 fusebox and fuses 94 are inline fuses.
