Tracking your minis
Having very annoying and expensive time with the tracking on my mini and after spending a few pound and having to wait and having to miss stuff.
Id like to get my own gauges to do the red devil (if i ever finish it) but after asking ver tyre centre and garage i found that i need old gauges, Obviously they cant be got any more so I'm asking how do ye track yer minis ?
I know it can be done with string or something but that seems way too difficult and time consuming

they're the cheapest version of what i use up at 1 of the lads, simple to use but you'd want to be doing a fair bit of tracking for that money!!

Re: Tracking your minis
iv'e had trouble getting my clubman tracked too, - its got 12" wheels and iv'e been to three places in the last few days and none of them can do it, including ACE in Sandyford who always used to be able to.
I've roughed it in using floor-boards & measuring tape but with its not quite right still - not surprising really. i'm thinking with the right (old) gear it cant be that difficult!

Re: Tracking your minis
Eamonn Byrne out in Kilcoole or Lloyd in Delgany would be able to track them I'm sure

Re: Tracking your minis
I had mine done by advance a few months back.
It was the computerised set up and they said they could do it, no problem. The steering wheel was still a bit off centre but the handling was better after having it done. Is it the case that this method will not correctly track a mini?
