need to replace my 1981 1 litre carbed engine..is there anybody/company in ireland / nth.
ireland that does part exchange unit either engine only or engine/gearbox ?

Not since Rover went. They used to do Gold Seal and Silver Seal engine replacements, doubt you'll find one at this stage.
What are you looking for exactly, is there something wrong with your current 998 ? Would it be possible to rebuild it?
