For those of you who aren't following "Project 64" on FB you may be interested to know that a group of guys from New Zealand have just broken the Land Speed Record for production cars under 1000cc. They have so far achieved a speed of 156.045 miles per hour at Bonneville Speed Week.

Little NZ TV news video of it here, there may be some video ad's before the footage but it's worth the wait.

anyone know the spec of this engine

i think it's a bmw twin cam with rotrex charger but can't find official spec anywhere.
very curious how they kept it under 1000cc

Looks like BMW head injected with turbo intercooling :P
ALL YOU NEED IS POWER AND LOADS OF IT!!!
