Welcome to the Irish Mini Owners Club forum. Celebrating 30 years of the Irish Mini Owners Club, 60 years of the Mini, 50 years of the Clubman and 20 years of our flagship event MTM
Hi - if you have a Riley Elf or Wolseley Hornet you may be interested to know that the Elf Hornet Register has just set up a special section on their free forum especially for Irish Elf and Hornet enthusiasts. This is to enable us to swap specifically local (Ireland) information.
It would be nice to see you there, I am hoping I can get a few Irish Elfs/Hornets together for fun, maybe at the Spirit of Dunboyne, or maybe just hook up for a cup of tea somewhere?
I look at that forum regurely but never got around to signing in. Good source of parts for sale. It will be a while before mine are back on the road. Have seen pictures of your car, very nice.
Myself, Johnny Murphy, Paul Kelly, and Eamonn Foley all own Hornets. Barry Oliver has a Riley Elf that's been in the family since new. There's definitely a few more in the club.
Thanks, Woody!
You should put pics up there of your progress anyway, you'll get plenty of encouragement and advice there if you want it. I love seeing ongoing restorations.
Billy, that's brilliant. I hope you'll all pop over and introduce yourselves there, and if you're interested in an informal get together let me know, I'll put the kettle on!
