spotted black 90's mini D reg with a white v.stripe, heading to Dublin on M8. Overtook my wife's car that was doing 120, and then almost got rear ended by a silver golf as you overtook the truck. Wife was giving out about that silver VW! I've noticed a bias towards mini's in her views!

Bonjour d'Orsennes, France!

This Mini Special belongs to the village pharmacist and was used as a daily car until recently when he received a company car.
He spends a lot of time travelling to/from Paris (6 hour round trip) so the Mini isn't used as a daily now.

Back from holidays in Wales and England - not so many Minis to be seen (although there were Binis and Fiat 500s everywhere) - took pics of all that we saw.

In the carpark at Snowdon Steam Railway - the occupants of this car must have walked up the mountain as it was there when we arrived and still when we were leaving, we were lazy and took the train up and back!

Image

Just outside Oxford - heading straight into a thunderstorm - this Elf was very speedy.

In Cheltenham:

And the great-grandaddy of the Mini - we spotted this 1926 Austin Burghley in Stow-on-the-Wold. Was chatting to the owner, who drives it daily (well, as long as it's not raining!) - his grandfather bought it in 1947.

It wouldn't surprise me if that Moke has 12s on front if it's driven from France to Bulgaria. You would often see lads with 10s at IMMs put 12s on the front for the long journey to give it extra legs.

True,

Aside from traveling distance though, I,ve had, and have seen minis with 12's on the front and 13" on the back.
Usually minis pushing power though, easier handle dropping to 12's or 10's up front. Handles lovely :D

Both wheels are infact the same unusual steel wheel with a hubcap on the front one. Portigese Mokes came standard with 12" wheels. The hood on this one is different to Killians as it has fastners accross the top of the screen
