Here is a few pic's of my mini thats been in retirement the past few years. Being busy lately putting the engine together and getting it back up and running.
Mondello 2007
Gearbox rebuild with 3.44 diff
1380cc offset bored,sw5 cam,1.5 roller rockers, Med stage 3 head.
Few jobs done today. Rebuilt and fitted Hif44 carb, wired up rev counter and have being playing around with a few maps I downloaded from the autolabs website.
Engine looks good, I'm setting up Megajolt on an Mpi engine at the moment and wondering if you got the tempiture input to work and are you using a gauge also. Looks like you have the MAP feed from the vacumn advance output on the carb, don't think this will give you a proper reading at idel.

Woody your right I have the MAP feed taken from the carb. Ideally you would need to take a reading from each inlet branch to a small resevior then onto the megajolt. This is something that I will address in the future.
Im still trying to figure out the temp input. I think the most straight forward approach is to use the existing temp/ guage set up and to add a additional temp sensor and plump somewhere on the rad or rad hose.
Reading each inlet branch is only nesecery with split or twin carbs, one takeoff in the centre near the servo takeoff should do.
Ye two sender units seems to be the easyest way to go with temperature.
