Accuspark Electronic Ignition

Post by Billy »

There was a lad in Mondello selling Accuspark electronic ignition kits for €45. Has anyone fitted one on a Mini to replace their points?

The same lad will be at the Charleville Show this coming Sunday.

I asked the question a while back if anyone was using one of these.
You can get one for about €40 on ebay including postage

Tony,

If you're getting 4 sets, it sounds like Ebay would be saving you a tenner a pop, going by Dave's and Joe's posts.

I'll certainly ask though.

I compared the photo of the Accuspark with a Britpart I have and they look identical. I haven't used the Britpart yet but they have good reports on other mini websites. I got it here.

This is for the 45D4 dizzy and will not fit early 23D4 .I think it may fit the later 59D4 .
