the gates at Mondello will open at 07:30am on Sunday 17th,
Exhibitors should arrive between 08:00am & 11:00am, after that time access to the paddock will be closed as circuit activities will commence at 11:30am

Change of plan for tomorrow. As B&B is full tonight, I'm on breakfast duties in the morning so will drive up with Eamospud afterwards. It means we'll be parking in the general car park but at least we'll be there.

Another great club day out and the weather held good apart from 1 shower

Plenty of nice cars on the IMOC stand including some new/recent members.

Shay Martins gorgeous Aussie Clubman is getting lots of outings lately and it looks like a petition will be started to encourage him to keep the car standard!!!!

Thanks to everyone that came out in force today at the IMOC stand.
We had about 28 Minis in total and the weather held out thankfully!

Big thanks to Martin, Mary & Gearoid Murphy for getting everybody sorted at the gate with their passes, to Tony Cooney for bringing down the Club Gazebo and to everyone who helped us set up/dismantle the stand.

Great to meet some new members today also.

Had a great day yesterday, Loads of really great cars on display,
this had to have been the best mini of the day, well it was for me anyway,
a real credit to the owner and all his own work!


My own mini went really well out on the track without any hiccups and held its own against some much more powerful machinery,
the second track session was a bit of a wash out, literally!
the rains came down and a lot of the rear wheel drive cars started struggling with grip so it was called off for safety reasons, a little dissapointed that it didn't go again after the rain stopped as it was quite expensive to just have those few laps compared to the first session,

I'm uploading some incar footage to Youtube at the moment and as soon as that's finished I'll add it in here
had one or two hairy moments where one car got into a tank slapper just after coming out of a corner and then another when the yellow sunbeam decided to pull off the track just as I was going to pull round him,
also when the rains came down in the second session I came around the last corner to be greeted by some cars that had spun out and were re joining the track,
none of these may seem to be too close in the video but believe me, the video doesn't show things as close up as they really are
