Hi Everyone,
Great forum - looking forward to spending lots of time on it giving / getting tips about all things Mini.
I've just got my 1991 Mini Studio 2 back up and running after 4 years off the road. Drives beautifully again, and running well.
Just trying to get a stereo installed so I can enjoy long journeys, but I've run into a bit of trouble.
Instead of the normal 2 ISO connectors (1 for speakers etc, 1 for power etc), there seems to be just one, and I didn't install / take out the last stereo that was in it.
All I see is this:
The only thing I can find that might be leading somewhere (but would need an ISO connector) is this female connector, underneath the steering wheel.
Any ideas? I'd love some help with this
Thanks so much!

Haven't come accross that plug before but it looks like the right one for the radio
Black- negitive
Light green - ignition positive
Purple- perminent positive
Red/Green- Lighting
I haven't come across the Red/green before but Red cable is generally used for lighting circuit, check it before connecting it if your radio has a lighting connection.

Wow, thanks for the quick replies!
It'd be cool to know what connector / adaptor might be needed, because, yes, it's looking like the connection under the steering wheel might be it.
Thanks again
