i said id ask you where you guys have yours located
because where mine is stops the screen from de-fogging and if i move it will be one less thing for my dad to complain about

You could relocate the L plate to the bonnet.
A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.

to be honest the L plate don't bother me as it doesn't stop the screen from defogging and surprisingly when in the passenger it doesn't take over much room
i might just cut out the white of the L and it will be grand for 4-5 months (hopefully)

With the L plate on the bonnet then you could put the tax/insurance/NCT disc on top of one and other on the edge of the screen.
A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.

Be carefull of cutting the red L out of the white background as it may be obligatory to have the red displayed on a white background in order for it to be easily legible.....
