Re: Mini Midas
That is cheap!
Could be a mistake, Has to be a "1" missing at the start of the price.........................or maby even a "0" at the end of it
Although, take into account it's an '85 and has to be VRT'd along with whatever "small work" it needs, it might be a fair price
Regardless though, it's a Sweet looking car

Re: Mini Midas
Careful, its a kitcar, so has to insured as one, very expensive (trust me) its why I sold my Coupe, also NCT's are near on impossible to pass as they have no idea on what to class it as. Also VRT will be at the highest tax bracket due to it being a engine of unknown CO2 emissions. Just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Mini Midas
I'd be of the same opinion.
I'd say the seller found out the same to his cost after he bought it hence the low price.
Very important is what the "Make" on the V5 is.

Re: Mini Midas
Apart from the body work, how much of an original Mini is used? Could you not find an old rotten Irish Mini and transfer all the Midas parts on to it?
