Help needed can't get carb running properly!!
Hi guys
Need some help, I recently got my mini back together and the problem I have is I can't seem to get it running right .
I can keep it running if I just pour petrol directly into carb , and there us petrol getting to it from tank.
I just can't get mixture right I think ??
Been at it for hours just can't seem get it right !
I alsoswitched air and petrol tubes around and once turned on mini was just ref ing out to max so think they where wrong way !
Just can't seem to get it reffing correctly engines sounds good but cant keep it ticking over as normal
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

It seems to me that running a HIF carb. If you have turned the adjuster all the way in at some point it is possable that you have disingaged it( seen it happen twice). You may have to open the float chamber to reset it.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the condenser in the distributor.
I would get it to tick over and even rev quite well but as soon as I tried to drive it there was no power.
