howdy all!

i havent posted ina while but have been reading, been working alot lately and between trips to brazil i have been refurbishing my mini..

last june i left it with albert to get her back in shape....new discs and lots more...

then after that i completely stripped her down to get rid of all the dents, rust and all the problems....and there was a lot!! i only got her back yesterday since june...

i will be posting all the pictures in the project forum tomorrow...

however my worst nightmare has been realised, today just as i was pulling into my parking space a loud knocking noise is coming from the engine...it sounds like a tractor...im worried to drive it incase i make it worse...anyone have any ideas??

maybe Bert has substituted your mini engine for the one that was in that old ford tractor that was up the back of the yard?

could be piston slap?, could be a bolt that is a little too long has been used somewhere it shouldn't have been?
ask Bert to take a look and he'll be able to tell you
