exhaust problem

exhaust problem
i have a slight blow in my exhaust on my leyland its where the stainless steel meets the manifold ive spent two hours thisevening again at it ive put two different clamps on it with paste and no paste and still no joy anybody got any easy ways to fix this or would it be best to fit a lcb

I loosen bracket at the bottom of gearbox and jack the exhaust up againest manifold. tighten clamp and then bracket.

as woody said, are ye sure there isn't a crack in the downpipe?... mine was sporting what looks like a fairly new system but still cracked and broke at the clamp, i repaired it with a weld and jacked it up tight... make sure you have a fixing bracket at the bottom of the downpipe because not having 1 is often a source of exhaust blowing...
