I know the price is a bit steep but if genuine with 75 miles it would be an investment. Although I asked for better pictures and he said that he'd take more when the weather clears up so I wonder if it's being stored outside. I'd have it in a nice warm garage if it was mine.

Possibly be aiming for the Japanese market.....although even they have pulled back a bit on paying silly prices for mini's.

Genuine ERA kit has joint in centre front, replica kits have one piece front. Unfortuneitly a car like this only maintains its value if not driven so whats the point in buying it unless you only want to look at it!

There was another Green ERA that went for £7500 there very recently that was in very good condition. A few months back there was another that needed a lot of work that ended up going to holland and was purchased for £4000, couldn't get the funds in time or I would have had it :( the only other one there is a black one being up for a while for £10,000.

That is true, sorry Shay. By far the one of the nicest and cleanest mini's out there, and would have it in a heartbeat if the money was there.

If money was no object I'd have an ERA in each Colour and a BAC M-30 :)

I remember a few years ago messing around on IBC japans auction site, there was an ERA for a 5K and was a grade 4.

Should have bought it!
whats the point in paying e25k for a ornament? Cars are ment to be driven not stored.

Japanese Grading System:

S Superior to Grade 6 or higher
6 or higher is as good as new. Exterior and interior are in immaculate condition. Some cars in these grades have never been driven.
5 – The car doesn’t need repair. The car has been repaired slightly, and the repair is in very good condition. No body parts have been changed.
4.5 – The car has been repaired slightly, and the repair is in good condition. It becomes a grade-5 car with slight repair. There are a few slight scratches or dents.
4 – The car is in good overall condition, but there are a few scratches or dents.
3.5 – The car has some conspicuous scratches or dents. The cars head-light support panel or back panel may have been repaired.
3 – The car has many conspicuous scratches or dents. The car has some paint blemishes.
2 – The car is in very bad condition

RA The car has had accident damage which can be ranked MINOR, and has been repaired.

Not wanting to hijack a thread, but I was on my hols in the UK last week and in the Lakeland Motor Museum in Cumbria they have a RSP Cooper with 8 miles on it. Nice to see a "new" Mini after years of seeing ones with scabs and scars and dents etc!!
