A bit of a weird one
My mini started acting up yesterday. With the passenger door open the engine wouldnt start. Close the door and she starts perfectly. Open the door when its running and she cuts out. Close the door quick enough and it sparks back into life. Any ideas as to whats going on. Great as a party trick for a day or 2 but I can see this getting annoying fast.

Must be thr switch on the door jam earthing now thats only a guess

What year /model is the mini. Does the interior light work on both doors.Check that the door stop isn't catching wires behind dash.
