Forest Park IMOC Camping Weekend 2011
We are delighted to announce the 2011 IMOC Forest park camping weekend which takes place in Lough Keel camp site, Boyle Co Roscommon.
After the massive success of last years event, with over 100 minis, and comments comparing it to an IMM (International Mini Meet) it plans to be a fantastic weekend.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again, and remember the proceeds of the event go to the Bryn Graham Trust, so your support is greatly appreciated.
This is a Mini event for Mini enthusiasts!!!!
Please download the entry form below as this is a pre booked event only.

Kind regards
Joe

Re: Forest Park IMOC Camping Weekend 2011
After a fantastic IMM in Switzerland, i am delighted to say that we have had great interest from the UK clubs who are interested in coming over, some of which are Mike price and his wife who are bringing over a Minisport stall. Mike was one of the main organisers of the IMM in Birmingham a couple of years ago @ mini 50.
He is bringing some club members from the uk as well, and this does nt include some of the Dutch and Germans that said they would also attend, someone will be busy goin to Knock
Start praying for sun

Hoping to go to this as it sounds amazing after talking to stan!! But can other ppl go that dont drive minis (like drive down in their non mini cars)?? If so do they have to fill in an entry form or is that just for the mini drivers??
Don't under-estimate the mini!

Hi Ste,you are more than welcome to come along to the Mini weekend.I see from your profile you have a Clubman so why not bring it along but if you can't then you can bring your ordinary car along but once you have pitched your tent you will have to move your car outside the site as we had problems with non-Minis parked in the show area and we will not allow this to happen this year. And you will have to fill out a form just like the Mini drivers as we need to know how many are coming and you will have to pay as we in turn have to pay for stuff so I hope this answers your questions and we hope to see you in August.

Cheers man!! But what I meant was could friends of mine (who arent part of the IMOC but love minis =)) go down in their own cars and ill drive my clubman!?? Does it just mean that they do everything a mini driver would (fill in form and pay) but then just park the car outside of the show area?? Oh and is it charged per car or person??kerryminigringo wrote:Hi Ste,you are more than welcome to come along to the Mini weekend.I see from your profile you have a Clubman so why not bring it along but if you can't then you can bring your ordinary car along but once you have pitched your tent you will have to move your car outside the site as we had problems with non-Minis parked in the show area and we will not allow this to happen this year. And you will have to fill out a form just like the Mini drivers as we need to know how many are coming and you will have to pay as we in turn have to pay for stuff so I hope this answers your questions and we hope to see you in August.

It has been decided at at tonights meeting, that everyone attending the camping will have to prebook regardless of whether or not they come in a mini, so as we have an idea of numbers for food on saturday night. However, anyone that arrives in a non mini, will still pay the same amount, 25euro plus the non members fee of 5 euro, if a non memebr, plus 10 euro per passenger, which will also have to be prebooked. These people will not be allowed to have the non mini car in the camp site area at anytime throughout the weekend, only to unload and load there camping gear. The IMOC or boyle scouts will not be responsible for any property outside Lough Keel camp site!!
Please note these non mini cars will be left roadside as there is no safe car park for half a mile
Reasons being, as much as we d love to have everyone, space is very limited, and this weekend is designed to bring the mini, their owners and families together.
