Regarding meeting at the Viaduct Inn on the N71 last year we
Meet up around 2pm and were on the road at 3pm.
It depends really what time suits people travelling from up the country hitting Cork.
That time worked well last year and we had a nice convoy to Mizen from there.
So plan is Viaduct from 1.30pm and try be on road by 3pm.
The viaduct does food all day

Petrol in Ballyhooly is 150.9 so you can refuel after a cuppa here. Mizen is about 100 miles from Ballyhooly.

Directions to Ballyhooly from Dublin.

Take the M8 towards Cork.
Exit at junction 14 for Fermoy.
Follow signs for Fermoy.
Turn right at church for N72 Mallow/Killarney
Pass Michael Flatley's "Castlehyde"
5 miles from Fermoy, into Ballyhooly village and follow 90 right at pubs.
After Amber petrol station and church, take the side road which goes straight on. There's a sign for the B&B at the junction.
Pass all the new houses and the GAA pitch, up over an old railway bridge
Turn right at the sign for the Old Train House B&B
We're the 3rd house on the right.

The kettle will be on.

Hello everyone. I'm new to all this, joined the club about a month ago. Finished restoring my mini (Maggie's Mighty Mini) last week. I would love to do the MTM run but am tied up all day Friday and indeed into the early hours of Sat. Since I can't possibly be at the starting line I would very much like to join the run somewhere along the route on Saturday. I've been told that the exact route is not revealed until Friday evening. So can anyone help. Would it be possible for some kind person to phone or text me where you plan to be at a certain time. vincieshile
