Re: BONNET STRIPES
Anywhere that does signs should be able to make them up for you, but if it is genuine stuff you want you'll have to order them in.
try Somerford,

Re: BONNET STRIPES
Stickercentral should have them, they have loads of Mini related graphics, (although they are not in Cork, they are in the UK somewhere).
I think the stripes have a slight curve outwards in them at the ends to follow the sides of the bonnet at the front edge, so its not a case of getting two straight strips of vinyl and sticking them on.
The only place in Cork that should have them that I know of is a certain Mini garage in Ballincollig that I may not be allowed to mention on this forum!!!!!!

You can mention Johnny Murphy's garage in Ballincollig all day long. Johnny is an active club member and can be contacted at 087-9503913. There's always a load of Minis in the yard, including my old Wolseley Hornet.pn951 wrote:

Re: BONNET STRIPES
Coming from Bishopstown, take the turnoff for Ballincollig but instead of going around the roundabout for Ballincollig, turn left. You come to a t-junction and take the right. Straight through the crossroads a mile up the road and he's about a half mile on the LHS. I think there's a sign for Maglin Tyres but the house name is Dunroamin. You drive in around a bungalow and he has a large shed out the back.
To be honest, Johnny probably wouldn't keep bonnet stripes in stock as it's mechanical stuff he does.
Sam, as The Marcos Graveyard says, give Somerford a call.

Re: BONNET STRIPES
hey lad i would say that you would be best getting the bonnet stripes from the uk..
a few years back i got the side stripes from that thief in ballincollig and paid 20 euro,10 euro a side..
i had the mini sold but the new owner wanted them so i had to get them..a few weeks after i got a full roll of strips
on ebay posted to my door for 6 euro...
as for john murphy, you wont find a better mechanic in the country..
