Can't help with Blanchardstown area, sorry, but had to get same job done on mine, got a laugh out of the member named I Hate Speedbumps. Got my mechanic to jack the car up an extra inch as the country roads are a killer for Minis, don't know if thats recommended but it helped a bit. Hope you find someone soon.

so i'm back to the exhaust again..got a rubber mount for it and fixed it this morning.....started notice it was very loud yestederday and today...drove home from finglas to clonsilla and deaffen'd the ears of me and the girlfriend....so had another look around and found that the exhaust to the manifold flange wasn't even connected . the clamp came loose . re clamped it and took it for a spin and still loud as hell...my dad said to have a look in the dark to see the so called blue flame if there was a crack in the exhaust...low and behold there she was , it was coming from the clamp...i will have to get some exhaust seal paste and hopefully this will fix this problem... any opinions mini heads..

p.s: when seeing the blue flame i thought to myself....thank gaud the engine didn't catch fire

biran, dont wore its now problam nearly all minis leak at the manafold to exhaust pipe joint little inherent flaw just relece the clamp put a litle gungum around the flange of exhaust pipe suve it up agenst the manafold replace the clamp tighted the nut up good and tight and bob is your uncal warm the engine up and the bad noise will be a distant memory.

Hiya Brian. Did you say you were in Finglas??? You're not in the West by any chance, are you? I spotted and early 80's light metallic blue Mini City parked just around from Cappagh hospital a few weeks ago. Just wondering who owned it...
